    Or an old boss nightmare.
Oh Patti, I would have gotten up in the middle of the night and checked it.

I have the book and the software for Dear Jane. I finally fnished the bear quilt for my DGGS and I am going to try to work on AOTH and Dear Jane at the same time over the summer. I am leaning towards a light lemon yellow for my background right now. I need to order the ruler for the triangles and the paper for paper piecing. I need to look at some of the completed DJ quilts.

Losie....wow..nice combination of challenges! You'll end up with 2 fantastic quilts! I would recommend some cheap paper for pp'ing. I finally found some cheap tracing paper that comes in Tablets that you can get in the art section at Walmart. Its cheap, light and you can trim an inch off 1 side and then run it through your printer. Do invest in the rulers...they make your life a ton easier!

I have the book and software for Dear Jane also but I am going to complete AOTH (Affairs of the Heart)Quilt first. Thanks for the tip about the rulers.

I ordered both of the DJ rulers from Simplicity.com for $9.99 for the pair. They should be here in about a week. I haven't had time to figure out how much fabric I will need for my quilt but, I hope to do that tomorrow.

I think it must be easier if you have the rulers, but I have managed mine without, so it is possible to do it with just the book and lots of patience too..
